on a broken city outline

saddened by a draining of

peace

light lost from

the corner of an eye

a spark of youth muffled by

sounds of gunfire

a haze of choking scenes

cause colors to hide behind

shades of grey and

reddish brown stains

a battle ground across a

living room where

love that waited nine months to

escape safety and live

is entangled in hate

imprisoned in fear

a pale quivering

night where

screams broke silence

glass and stone

brother’s transition and

a sister is alone

the gleam of light within

betrayed

in flames of madness

by those afraid to

talk and share

After a day of measuring parts and recording them on process drawings my brain is an unbelievable mush type substance. I read the piece but honestly can only say that something bad is going on. What it is exactly will have to wait till morning. Wait, I looked again. Soon to be mom and dad are in a heated argument.

I am a man with one distinguishing manner. I view life as a nonstop roll by circus. Whatever my senses signal to my brain, it is received as humor.

measuring and recording  parts.... after that type of day

I understand

it is hard to

understand

a brain put together with

parts of different sizes

and mass :)
