We all face battles everyday in our life
But they are challenges we must go through, in order to get ourselves right
Notice the fights we face, involve our weakest spots
We think our battles are against us, but they’re actually pushing us to the top
A piece of you wants to give up, hoping it’ll change
You pray for God to take it away, but everything still seems the same
But God chose that battle for you to go through…
He’s not here to change the fight; he’s here to change you!
Even if you fail and you feel lost in faith
Our Lord is full of compassion, forgiveness, and for your strength he will wait
But he will always return the struggle, and make us try again
Silently rooting for us, hoping that this time we conquer and win
And so on goes this cycle, until we fully grow
So quit being stubborn and YOU change, that’s when your strength will truly show
If there is to be a great battle then our faiths needs to be strong. If a Faithful existence was a walk in the park then how will your Faith increase? Tragedy in our lives is inevitable. Accepting what is, growing from the experiences and not dwelling on things we cannot change are where strength comes from. We mourn at a loss but after that we are more concerned with the fact that we lost something and how it affects us than we are of it's being lost. If that makes sense?
Faith is not a fence so get off it. Believe it or not. Questioning it only weakens it. Even if you don't understand it you still must choose to believe. Unshaken in that faith.
Faith is not a crutch to lean on only when we are wounded. Don't carry it around in a sack to use when you need it.
Walk with it.
Follow it when you are lost.
Stand by it when you are confronted.
Listen to it when you are confused.
Hold it when you're lonely.
See it when you're in the dark.
Taste it when life is bitter.
Feel it when you feel nothing.
Enjoy it when you're filled with it.

Amen! Kind of like a sequel to that last one? Very deep and thoughtful once again. I really enjoyed this piece as well-your lines hold a deep, deep truth, and I like that this time you used faith rather than strength as the key part of this. Our battles are chosen already....Very nice way to add to "everything happens for a reason"!
