So bright the shining silver light

To frail and fleeting mortal minds

In dreams we only comprehend

Then pray the angels come again

So comes the bright and shining silver light

The doubters pray, but suffer their eternal fate

Beholding wings of purest loving white

Left to cry out, cast from understanding

When comes the bright and shining silver light

At failing fleeting heart’s demise

Will you pray the angels come?

May you will dwell in understanding.

Forms of light upon the earth

In dreams so bright, the light

Of understanding

Wow. Now that's a poet. René Karl Wilhelm Johann Josef Maria Rilke. If he were an infant, I would be that little bit of drool hanging from his mouth....

Yeah, he had some identity issues :) . Awesome poet for sure. I wrote a paper on his angels... it's pretty academic, and it won't let me attach it here, so I'll send it to you in a message or something.
