Lost to day,

She tries to find herself,

At night.

Willing the light to come,

She slows to dreariness.

Tomorrow it will come.

The answers to her life,

Tomorrow child, sleep now.

This poem has a sense of youthfulness... not sure I get the title, unless its morbid or something. See, I think I've missed something in one of yours!

I really like that this is her journey through a single day and night. I also love the smooth and dreamy feel.

@tlhopkinson  It is speaking to the inner child of an older woman who is trying to sell her house. she moved out already and stored her furniture. The buyers have backed out and now she feels lost and homeless. Dealing with the change has left her with anxiety.

@SerenaLantha Yes a bit dreamy. I was tired and it was early morn and I was up all night. I wrote this in 4 minutes for a dear friend. Emotions write poems , that is for sure.

OK, so now I get it... if you decide to work with this one, I would recommend bringing more of that topic in... it's a great topic for expression. I think you could revisit this and create something excellent.
