in the middle of there

stood a likeness of a person

made from memories as hard as rock

a wall built around closes in tight

small cracks let in light-workers

who

listen

understand

can save one from

self

Walls, started writing something similar but couldn't get it where I wanted it. Walls are a fabulous metaphor...

Written in C4 style, I enjoyed this. Really liked the opening line.....................

Another really thought provoking poem, your poetry is always interesting to read! I love how visual the first 5 lines are. My fav part-
"stood a likeness of a person
made from memories as hard as rock"

Nice work

Shoot me. I didn't even have to duck when this one flew over my head. I'll try again later. BTW from the comments I think every one else is clueless too. I think you are looking at something and writing about it in your "Riddle me this" style of "wtf". You don't wear a skin tight outfit with question marks all over it, do you?

Your are an enigma Craig.
