someone had snuck quietly in the night and took all the queens jewels,

so clever and calculated, this was obviously no ones fool,

the queen was therefore summoned to the tower and of course shock to her find,

who or what mischievous half wit has robbed me with cruelty in mind,

so she orders her royal guards to scour the land up and down,

but to no avail was the jewels to be found,

desperately her majesty offers out a reward of a thousand quid,

for anyone to come forward, who knows where they are hid,

days went by,no news had come to light,

it was all becoming very upsetting, a down ward plight,

but one night a hooded stranger appeared from shadowed alleys and stood at the queens front gates,

and told the guard standing there,he knew the where abouts ,well so he did state,

but first i will need food and fresh clothing for my travels were far and long,

a hot bath to cleanse my aching body, also to take away this wif this hideous pong,

granted says the queen do has you so desire, sit yourself down infront of my open warm fire,

eventually the stranger was fully fed and relieved of his wash and rince ,

wearing new clothing that were worthy of a dashing Prince,

so asks the queen do you know who has my jewels,my dear kind fellow,

my crown filled to brim of precious stones, surrounded in a bright golden yellow,

why there at the tower your grace, where else would they be,

if you don't believe me,go take a look and see,

the queen very confused and bewildered did indeed go to the tower,

to find her jewels had returned mysterious within that same hour,

i don't understand it,my mind has gone all blank, why would they be returned?,

arhhh! That's simple said the stranger, for the thousand pound i just earned.

This is so comfortable to read. A rhyming story with a twist.

I am a man with one distinguishing manner. I view life as a nonstop roll by circus. Whatever my senses signal to my brain, it is received as humor.

I enjoyed this story! The rhymes certainly give it a calm, sing-song quality. The title is also gold!
