angry little memories buried in the ground

angry little memories waiting to be found

a fathers name on stone

mothers tears on stone

children tend to stone

keep the mortar wet

keep the mortar wet

angry little memories of forgotten wars

angry little memories of what was

a fathers name on stone

mothers tears on stone

children tend to stone

keep the mortar wet

keep the mortar wet

angry little memories buried in the ground

angry little memories that must be found

a fathers name on stone

mothers tears on stone

children tend to stone

keep the mortar wet

keep the mortar wet

for all those who pray for guidance home

then go and search for death

keep the mortar wet until there are no more landmines

You certainly have a way with words... I think this is a very deep piece especially, and the rhymes and tempo keep it steady. Wonderfully written!

most start as poems that I take as far as I can

I try lyrics or even to paint a scene from the idea( paint is mostly digital these days)

my greatest joy is when I hear someone sing my ideas

there are a few recorded never went very far by some standards

but the process was pure enjoyment
