Sail away, sail away,

To the better days,

Where the skies are blue

And the weather's cool,

Yahoo!

Sail away, sail away,

'Til dawn, 'til mornin',

And sing and dance

In a celebration for joy,

Yahoo!

Let's set sail

And ride away,

Move with the winds

And call with the gulls,

Because they'll never stop us!

Have no direction

But to where your dreams are,

And let's set sail,

For the next day has arrived,

Celebrate the joy!

Let's rock on the boat,

Singing ballads of legends,

No sorrows to drown

For each day is pure joy,

Riding on the waves 'til home!

We have dreams to fulfill

And goals to reach,

And we'll never stop sailing,

'Til we sail to the end of our lives,

'Cause the sea's calling us!

Sail away, sail away,

To the better days,

Where the skies are blue

And the weather's cool,

Yahoo!

Sail away, sail away,

'Til dawn, 'til mornin',

And sing and dance

In a celebration for joy,

Yahoo!

I'm blaming my brain for not being able to post anything. Well, that, and my traitorous body for falling asleep as soon as it went past 10 pm for the last two days.... and again my brain for making me read until THREE. A. M. IN. THE. MORN. ING! I mean seriously, what the hell, first you complain about a lack of sleep and then you purposefully let me stay up until 3 am in the morning only to wake up four hours later. REALLY?

As for the theme, well, I'll explain: because I am a younger sister with an seven years older brother, I was exposed to 'boys' series when I was younger, and I decided to look up one of the series again just for old times sake, y'know? I DISCOVERED THAT THE BROTHER OF THE MAIN CHARACTER DIED!! I liked that guy because he was a protective brother, and one of the few things where I turn into a fangirl/girl/obsessed-idiot/crying-lunatic/emotional-wreck is when a protective brother is involved. Seriously, my personality makes a 180 degree turn and makes me into a squealing, clapping, gushing, excited, annoying girly girl. It's annoying.

Anyway, because the series I looked uo is all about the sea and everything, I made my poem/song after that. It's sort of like a salute to my old childhood days before the world turned into what it is to me now, and where everyone was kind and everything was okay and where nobody was upset for long. Ah, sweet, addictive memories.

I'll probably post another poem dedicated to protective brothers and/or dying o0r something along those lines BECAUSE I HAVE TO! That death and that reaction was so intense that it made even me cry. ME. And even if it weren't like that, I would still do it because I'm 3 days behind......

This is feeling like a damn long month. Can I keel over from exhaustion yet?

(Brain: NO! I made you sleep for the last two days, and you're still tired?! Write those damn poems, you *****! What? No, I have not been hanging around the Rudeness and Swearword Department for too much time! Shut up Felicity, or I shall hurt you! Now write those three poems! No, wait--I don't care if you're tired, write those poems! SIT THE FUCK DOWN AND--Why are Calamity and Ease here? What? No, we're not going to rest, right Felicity? Felicity? THAT MOTHER******! SHE FELL ASLEEP! HOW DARE SHE--

Lord Brain has been detained, therefore making Leader Felicity unable to pursue her conversation with the generous people of Thoughts Inc. Momentarily, all Departments are in uproar and can currently not correctly function. Please forgive Felicity if she is unable to post anymore poetry until tomorrow.

Felicity's Emergency Service is sincerely apologizing on behalf of the Apologies Department (which is currently being mauled by the weak forces of Grudge and Ruthlessness from the Instinct Department) for any inconvenience, but we also greatly thank you for reading this poem on behalf of the Gratitude Department (also being mauled by Grudge, along with the whole of the Rudeness and Swearword Department).

Have a good day!)
