low hills of home call to me

I hear the drumlins roll

rocks and beach play tambourine- sea

in an island-storm’s symphony

water glazed rocks stand tall

low hills of home call to me

ice breaks and spring gets free

the twine-loft has nets in the hall

rocks and beach play tambourine- sea

frame of a boat is cut from tree-knees

cut down and hung to dry in the fall

low hills of home call to me

boats painted and dry in a warm breeze

fishing gear ready hung on the wall

low hills of home call to me

gulls hug the shore for the morning-free

fishermen on their decks stand tall

fish processing plant run shifts in threes

rocks and beach play tambourine- sea

Your writing always manages to give me a new look at something beautiful. I love all the alliteration and natural rhymes in this piece. The flow of the poem is also wonderfully done. I also like that there is always poetry in your poems-the more imagery, the merrier!
