It actually made me laugh, the image of someone eating a piece of paper with a poem written on it, but I have to say, I also have eaten poetry. A nice quote! woot

I'm breaking constantly, continuously and always, it's just that nobody sees it - but I'm fine with that, as long as there's something to fix me, too. ~ Me

Poetry is the journal of the sea animal living on land, wanting to fly in the air.  Poetry is a search for syllables to shoot at the barriers of the unknown and the unknowable.  Poetry is a phantom script telling how rainbows are made and why they go away.  ~Carl Sandburg, Poetry Considered

The smell of ink is intoxicating to me — others may have wine, but I have poetry. ~Terri Guillemets

The writing of a poem is like a child throwing stones into a mineshaft. You compose first, then you listen for the reverberation.

That quote tells me I'm doing something wrong because I usually get more work done from home vs going into the office.... in my defense though there's less distractions and no traffic to and from my computer :) .

“Every heart sings a song, incomplete, until another heart whispers back. Those who wish to sing always find a song. At the touch of a lover, everyone becomes a poet.”

I don't want to become a living legend. That just means you can't do it like you use to.

Robert S. Hatfield/ or somebody else if they said it already. Hell I don't know....

I am a man with one distinguishing manner. I view life as a nonstop roll by circus. Whatever my senses signal to my brain, it is received as humor.

If something burns your soul with purpose and desire, it’s your duty to be reduced to ashes by it. Any other form of existence will be yet another dull book in the library of life. -Charles Bukowski
